THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE
An integration of powerful techniques designed for your specific needs:
Strain-Counterstrain: a passive positional technique that "resets" muscle and fascia to a more normal resting length.
Myofascial release: hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the myofascial connective tissue of the body.
Neuromuscular therapy: a specialized form of deep tissue massage in which digital pressure and friction are used to release areas of strain in the muscle.
Essential Oils: These naturally occurring, volatile aromatic compounds are found in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers, and other parts of plants. Rich in a variety of aromatic plant compounds, essential oils are thought to have therapeutic properties when they are absorbed into the body (and eventually, the bloodstream) by inhalation or through direct contact with the skin. These scent molecules are said to enter the nervous system and influence hormones, metabolism, and emotional and physical well-being.
